Notes

Arvind: I've compiled the following notes based on the recent ProNet thread about the Members Directory. Feel free to add to these.

The following information should be stored on ProNet members:

• Name
• Address (optional)
• Phone (optional)
• Bio (e.g. “About this person”)
• Email (with option to make public or private)
• Blog URL
• Portfolio URL
• RSS Feed URL
• Linked In Profile URL
• Upload a userpic/photograph
• Describe themselves in a bottom-up approach with tags
• Specializations from the following product choices:
  • TypePad
  • TypePad Business Class
  • TypePad Widget Development
  • MT Plugin Development
  • MT Enterprise
  • MT LDAP Integration
    • MT Design and Layout

The following should also be displayed on each member profile page:

• Plugins they have submitted to the Plugins Directory
• Styles/Themes they have submitted to The Style Archive
• Endorsements ("comments") that can be left by the general public which will be behind Typekey/OpenID authentication

ProNet members will be able to edit their profiles as well as submit plugins to the directory through an OpenID enabled "ProNet Control Panel"
