A Word About Autodiscovery
While this document outlines many conventions for where certain files can be found in the Six Apart world, it is not always a gaurantee since with TypePad and Movable Type blogs users are capable of domain mapping their sites to different URLs, and modifying the default filename of published files.
For that reason, it is always encouraged to use autodiscovery link relations as opposed to filename naming conventions for finding the relevant documents.
RSS Feeds
RSS feeds are discoverable via the rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" link relation on TypePad, LiveJournal and Movable Type blogs.
LiveJournal users can find their Atom feed at the following URL:
TypePad users can find their Atom feed at the following URL:
- http://<username>.typepad.com/<blog name>/rss.xml
Atom Feeds
Atom feeds are discoverable via the rel="alternate" type="application/atom+xml" link relation on TypePad, LiveJournal and Movable Type blogs.
LiveJournal users can find their Atom feed at the following URL:
TypePad users can find their Atom feed at the following URL:

FOAF
FOAF (or "Friend Of A Friend"), documents are discoverable via the rel="meta" title="FOAF" link relation on user profile pages on TypeKey, LiveJournal.
In LiveJournal, the FOAF files consists of a list of your LiveJournal friends. In TypePad, the list comprises people listed among your People TypeLists.
LiveJournal users can find their Atom feed at the following URL:
FOAF files for TypeKey users are a little unpredictable as the URL depends greatly upon if you have a TypePad account or not.
RDF
RDF files are used to help applications discover API endpoints. These documents are discoverable via the rel="EditURI" link relation on Movable Type and TypePad homepages.
